3 p.m. Fraud. 17th Avenue SE. A man reported a $247.83 charge placed on his credit card without his permission at nike.com
6:44 p.m. Theft. Elm Street E. An employee observed a man shoplifting at Coborn’s. When the man and a woman with him were leaving the store, an employee asked for a receipt. The man left while the woman argued with the officer. Later the officer met with the man at St. Cloud Hospital and he admitted shoplifting. He was issued a citation for misdemeanor theft.
3:17 p.m.. Vehicle crash. First Avenue NE. A vehicle in a parking lot struck a pole. No damage to the pole.
3:42 p.m. Collision. Pond View Lane. A driver backed into a another person’s rented car in the driveway. The doors on the rental car were damaged.
3:54 p.m. Theft of bicycle. College Avenue S. A woman reported her bicycle had been stole between May 14 and May 26. The lock and tire were still locked to the bicycle rack but the bike was gone. The Trek hybrid bike is white with blue accents and is valued at $1,000.
10:58 p.m. Suspended license. College Avenue and Minnesota Street. An officer ran a random license-plate check that showed the registered owner had a suspended license for unpaid fines. The vehicle was stopped. The driver said the state records were wrong. The driver was issued a citation but later it was determined there was a court error and the citation was dismissed.
