April 2
12:56 a.m. Underaged drinking. 109 Minnesota St. W. While doing bar checks at Sal’s, an officer on duty found a female who had no identification and admitted she was not 21. She admitted she snuck into the bar. The officer smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. A preliminary breathalyzer test of .112 was taken. The girl was cited for underage consumption and failure to have identification in possession.
April 3
9:15 a.m. Fraud. 400 Fourth Ave. NE. Responded to a call of fraud at Sentry Bank. Arrived and met with the account specialist and the complainant who said someone tried to gain access to his account and draw money with his actual account numbers. The bank did not allow this to happen. The officer took the report and the bank issued a new card and counseled account holder on options.
April 4
11:56 p.m. Drug possession. CR 3/CR 75. While on patrol on Old Hwy. 52 by CR 75, an officer saw a vehicle traveling westbound on CR 75 with one headlight. The officer stopped the vehicle by CR75/CR3. The male driver was identified. Male suspect said his license was revoked and he was just driving his friend home. Officer found he had warrant out of Morrison County for recklessness. Officer arrested the man and found drug paraphernalia on the front seat. The man said it was his. Officer issued a citation for driving after revocation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
April 5
11:48 a.m. Juvenile vandalism. 34-½ Elm St. E. Officer was dispatched to a neighbor dispute of juveniles walking through complainants yard and damaging a box that had a trail camera in it. They also tampered with the trail camera and took a battery and the SD card. Complainant named a suspect who has been verbal with her before with profanity. Pictures and report taken. Made contact with suspect at his home and asked about his interactions with the homeowner. He said he does not do that anymore and he avoids going that way. He said he knew nothing about the camera. Officer reminded him again of not bothering the homeowner and staying off her property.

June 10
7:17 a.m. Vehicle crash. CR 151/CR 52, SE of Holdingford. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Holdingford Fire and Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance were dispatched to a vehicle crash at the intersection of CR 151 and CR 52 southeast of Holdingford. Female, 17, of Holdingford, was driving a black, 2008 Mercury Mariner southbound on CR 151, and went through the stop sign without stopping. Female, 50, of St Joseph, was westbound on CR 52 driving a maroon 2014 Dodge Caravan, and could not stop in time and struck the Mercury Mariner vehicle as it went through the intersection. The driver of the Caravan was treated at the scene by Holdingford Fire and Rescue and transported to the St Cloud Hospital and the Mercury driver was uninjured in the crash. The accident is under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
