The Father Werner Council 7057 Knights of Columbus held a burger sale Aug. 17 in front of the St. Joseph Meat Market. KC members Lloyd Bruemmer (left) and Ron Rennie helped grill burgers to raise funds for various local causes.
The KCs hold a burger/brat sale on the third weekend of every month. Bruemmer said the KCs donate the proceeds from the sales to various local causes, such as the St. Joseph Food Shelf, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, various parish and school fundraisers, and other charities.
