Ronald J. Henning, 52, of Sartell, died Feb. 3. His funeral was held Feb. 8 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. The Rev. Tim Baltes officiated. Burial took place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls.
Henning was born Sept. 24, 1963 in St. Cloud to Margaret (Kuffel) and Othmar Henning. He served his country for eight years in the U.S. Army and continued his service in the Army Reserve for 19 years. He married Jean Pozorski on June 11, 1993 in St. Cloud. Henning worked as a manager at Electrolux for 25 years. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, working with his hands and spending time outdoors. He was an honorable and generous man who loved life. He had a great laugh and sense of humor. His faith and family were very important to him.
Survivors include the following: wife, Jean of Sartell; children, Tyler (Chelsey) Pozorski of Grand Junction, Colo., Kayla Henning of Princeton, Eric Henning of Moose Lake; grandchildren, Camryn, Rian, Tianna; mother, Margaret Henning of Sartell; siblings, James (Cleo) Henning of St. Cloud, Deborah (Tom) Dingmann of St. Cloud, Duane Henning of St. Cloud and Jeanine (Kevin) Mooney of Richmond.
Henning was preceded in death by his father, Othmar; father-in-law, Al Pozorski; mother-in-law, Josephine Pozorski; and great niece, Kacey Pozorski.
