Jonah Nebosis, Sartell
As a former Sartell graduate, I ask that you vote yes on the upcoming Nov. 5 levy. I am currently a senior at St. John’s, and education has played a big role in my life and will continue to do so as I begin my career path. Going from high school to college was a big transition in a lot of ways, but I felt as though the education I received at Sartell effectively prepared me for this major life change.
Various teachers in the Sartell-St. Stephen district helped to instill self-confidence and laid the foundation which enabled me to build a strong work ethic, both of which have proved to be invaluable. Part of the effective education I received was due, in large part, to the hands-on experience I was able to get. The smaller class format I was accustomed to at Sartell was part of the reason I chose to attend St. John’s, and it would be unfortunate if this should change in the district.
I will be voting yes on Nov. 5, and I hope you will all join me so we can ensure current and future classes are given the opportunity to be set up and prepared for whatever their next step in life will be.
