The Newsleader is inviting Sartell residents to share their favorite photos with our readers.
In the near future, the newspaper will begin publishing reader-submitted photos – hopefully, at least one each week. And then, four times each year a name will be drawn at random from among those who submitted photos, and a gift card to a local business will be awarded to the winner.
There is no age limit for those who submit photos, and they do not have to live in Sartell. However, the photos must be taken in the Sartell and St. Stephen area. Subject matter is open to the photographers, although action photos are preferred – that is, shots of a person or people doing some activity: recreation, workplace, schools, churches, parks, etc. Scenic landscapes (especially with people in them) and animal photos are also welcome.
Along with the photo, send information about it, answering the following questions:
1. Where and when was the photo taken?
2. What is happening in the photo?
3. Starting from left to right, name the people in the photo and their home towns, if you happen to know. And be sure to list the names of the people from left to right.
Include the name and phone number of the person who took the photo.
Photos and information can be submitted via email to:
Photo prints, along with information, can also be submitted in person at the Newsleader office at 32 1st Ave. N.W. in St. Joseph. Questions? Call 320-363-7741.
