Sept. 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

1:20 a.m. Intoxicated person. 2 Riverside Ave. S. Officers were dispatched for a report of a male who was passed out on the bathroom floor of the Riverboat Depot. Officers arrived and woke the male who became belligerent and uncooperative with officers. The male party eventually calmed down enough to provide a preliminary breath test of .211. Gold Cross Ambulance arrived on scene and cleared the man. Officers then transported the male party home where he was left in the care of a family member.<\/p>\n

11:44 p.m. Vehicle pursuit. Hwy. 10\/66 Street NW. While on routine patrol and northbound on Hwy. 15, an officer observed a motorcycle that was swerving within its lane. The officer attempted a traffic stop on the motorcycle on northbound Hwy. 10 near Sugar Daddys. The motorcycle increased its speed to 101 mph. After approximately four miles the motorcycle decreased its speed and eventually came to a stop. The officer approached the driver at gunpoint. The driver was taken into custody and after further investigation was charged with third-degree DWI.<\/p>\n

Sept. 18<\/strong><\/p>\n

3:13 p.m. Medical. 100 Second St. S. An officer was dispatched to Williams Integracare Clinic for a report of a 55-year-old male patient who was having difficulty breathing. The officer arrived on scene and located the male in a patient room. The officer was advised by staff the male had aspirated on his vomit and now had liquid in his lungs. The male had also been administered oxygen prior to officer arrival. The officer monitored the male\u2019s condition until Gold Cross arrived on scene. The officer then assisted with loading the patient for transport to the St. Cloud Hospital.<\/p>\n

8 p.m. Trespass. Sunset Avenue. Officers were dispatched for a report of a male party who had entered a vacant mobile home. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the male party. The man stated to officers he was the previous renter and had stopped by to grab some things. The male party provided officers with identification. Through further investigation, officers discovered the male had a warrant out for his arrest. Officers confirmed the warrant through dispatch and then took the male into custody. The male was transported to the Stearns County Jail without incident.<\/p>\n

Sept. 19<\/strong><\/p>\n

1:59 a.m. Suspicious person. 29 Riverside Ave. S. Officers were dispatched to a report of someone yelling and banging on the chain-link fence north of the Kwik Trip Construction. Officers arrived in the area and could hear a male yelling but could not see him. One officer approached on foot from the south while a second from the north. Under cover of darkness, the officers got within a few feet of the male and observed him to be on the phone; he appeared heavily intoxicated. After listening for a few minutes, the officers made contact with the male identifying themselves as police officers. The male was detained in handcuffs due to his erratic and confused state. The man stated to officers he was attempting to walk home after drinking at Winners Bar. The man provided a preliminary breath test which indicated .34 (more than four times the legal limit). Due to the man\u2019s high intoxication level and inability to care for himself he was transported by Gold Cross to the St. Cloud Hospital.<\/p>\n

6:29 p.m. \u00a0Medical. 2-1\/2 Street N. An officer was dispatched as a first responder to a report of a 68-year-old female with leg pain. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with the woman. She stated she had a blood clot in her leg which was possibly causing the pain. The female was conscious and breathing and provided the officer with a medical history. The officer then monitored the female\u2019s condition until Gold Cross arrived on scene to take over the assessment.<\/p>\n

Sept. 20<\/strong><\/p>\n

8:40 a.m. Disorderly. Lowell Lane. Officers were dispatched for a report of a male party who was incoherent and throwing things. Officers arrived on scene and located the male party asleep on the couch. The male party was breathing fine and didn\u2019t appear in distress. Officers allowed the male to sleep until Gold Cross arrived on scene. After arriving on scene, paramedics conducted an assessment. Due to the outcome of the assessment the male was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.<\/p>\n

5:13 p.m. School-bus stop-arm violation. Pinecone Road N. An officer was made aware of a report of a stop-arm violation that had occurred at 2.20 p.m. The complaint included a license plate and a vehicle description. The officer made contact with the registered owner of the vehicle. The woman stated her son had been driving that vehicle at that time. The officer then made contact with the registered owner\u2019s son. He admitted to driving the vehicle during that time and driving through the school-bus stop arm. The officer issued the boy a citation for the violation.<\/p>\n

Sept. 21<\/strong><\/p>\n

7:27 a.m. Vehicle accident. Horizon Avenue S.\/Second Street S. An officer was dispatched for a motor vehicle crash involving injuries. Upon arrival, the officer observed both vehicles still in their resting positions at Horizon Avenue. The officer made contact with both drivers and one passenger. The officer discovered the driver of vehicle one was injured and rendered aid. The man stated his neck was hurting. The officer applied a C-collar to his neck and held C spine until Sartell Fire arrived to assist. The man stated to the officer he had stopped for a school bus when he was rear-ended. The driver of vehicle two stated he had his hand up to block the sun and didn\u2019t see vehicle one come to a stop. He stated he struck vehicle 1 at approximately 30 to 35 mph. The officer took photographs and completed state and city accident report forms. Driver of vehicle one was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.<\/p>\n

11:59 p.m. Traffic stop. \u00a0CR 1\/CR 120. While on routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle leaving the Walmart parking lot. The officer observed the vehicle displaying July 2017 registration and confirmed the registration was expired after running the license plate. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle due to this violation. The officer made contact with the driver and told her the reason for the stop. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered the driver also had a revoked license. The driver stated she knew her driving status was revoked. The driver was cited for driving after revocation and was verbally warned for her expired vehicle registration.
