Recently the Louisiana state government passed legislation that every public school and college in the state is required to display the 10 commandments in their classrooms.
Most would agree if everyone would read and consider the 10 Commandments there would be a better world.
As there is an increasing diversity of nationality and opinions in our schools, this gives others with other religious beliefs an equal right to display their religious beliefs in our school rooms.
How would this affect the young minds of our students seeing and reading conflicting opinions during each school day? Would this cause conflict?
I assume other states may want to follow the direction of Louisiana. Once this door is open, how do we close it?
