Little ghouls, goblins scare up good time in Rice

photo by Dennis Dalman Hundreds of people attended the Oct. 29 grand opening of “99 Bottles,” the new liquor store in Sartell, the site of the former Westside Liquor store. Visitors enjoyed free brats, hors d’oeuvres and had a chance to sample dozens of wines, beers and liquor. The new business is owned by Andy Skatvold, who also owns the “99 Bottles” liquor stores in Moorhead and Baxter. He purchased the Westside location in Sartell from Bob Feuling, who owned it for many years, along with liquor stores in St. Cloud, Waite Park, Rice and Little Falls. Feuling retains ownership of those stores. The manager of 99 Bottles is John Abraham. It is located at 1001 Second St. S. Its business hours are from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
