A first-time event, the Sartell High School Swing Dance, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 at Sartell High School.
Three performance groups will play in in the SHS Commons: the High School Jazz Band, the Middle School Jazz Band, as well as special guest, West Metro Big Band.
Before the main event, swing-dance lessons will be provided by StudioJeff of St. Cloud from 6-7 p.m. These lessons require no payment, just a good pair of shoes.
Throughout the night, an array of desserts and coffee will be served to guests. Water will also be provided as another beverage option.
This event is open to the public and requires no purchase of a ticket. Free-will donations are welcomed and encouraged. All donations received will go into the Sartell High School Band Activity Fund (which covers the Jazz Band, Pep Band and Marching Band).
Mark your calendar and join your neighbors and friends for a music-filled night.
