The Central Minnesota Arts Board is requesting feedback from area residents on regional needs and priorities to help determine their upcoming 2014-15 programs and services beginning July 1.
The CMAB has served Region 7W, which includes the counties of Stearns, Benton, Sherburne and Wright, for more than 33 years as one of Minnesota’s 11 regional arts councils.
Anyone residing in one of the four counties served by the CMAB can participate in the brief survey by going to http://www.centralmnartsboard.org/pressroom/index.html or by contacting the CMAB office for a paper copy.
The deadline to complete the survey is Jan. 10.
A study completed in 2006 showed nonprofit arts and culture as an $838.5 million industry in the State of Minnesota with 22,095 full-time jobs, generating $94.1 million in local and state government revenue. Minnesota has a vibrant cultural industry that has grown even larger since the study.
For more information about the Central Minnesota Arts Board programs and services, visit www.centralmnartsboard.org or call the office toll free at 1-866-345-7140.
