Dec. 6

11:05 a.m. Domestic. Two-½ St. N./Fifth Avenue N. Officers were dispatched for a report of two people fighting inside a vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and separated both parties. Officers observed red scratches on the male’s face. The female party had no visible injuries. Upon further investigation, officers discovered the fight occurred because the male discarded the female’s weed. The female was the aggressor in the situation so she was arrested and charged with fifth-degree domestic assault, possessing a small amount of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Stearns County Jail without incident.

Dec. 7

9:57 p.m. Traffic stop. Hwy. 15/Eighth Street N. While on routine patrol and monitoring traffic on Hwy. 15, an officer observed a vehicle pass that had a tail light out. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The officer made contact with the driver and the driver stated she had no valid insurance. The female provided an expired insurance card and a valid driver’s license. The driver was verbally warned for the tail light and cited for driving without valid proof of insurance.

11:22 p.m. Missing juveniles. St. Wendel Township. An officer was dispatched to assist deputies in locating two missing juveniles who had run away from a group home. The officer responded and using a thermal-imaging camera located two heat signatures in the ditch at CR 2 and 320th Street. Officers approached the area and found the two missing juveniles who were taken into custody and transported back to the group home.

Dec. 8

3:29 p.m. Assist agency. LeSauk Township. An officer assisted Stearns County deputies with a medical emergency. A male party had fallen outside on the ice and struck his head; he was up and walking upon officer arrival. The male had a two-inch gash on the top of his head. The officer used gauze and applied pressure to the wound. Gold Cross Ambulance arrived on scene and took over care. The male was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross.

9:46 p.m. Theft. Sixth Street S. An officer was dispatched to take a report on a theft of Christmas decorations. The officer arrived on scene and met with the complainant. The male party stated an inflatable snowman decoration was stolen out of his yard. The decoration was valued at $100. Officers will be conducting extra patrols in the area.

Dec. 9

4:31 a.m. Disorderly. Fourth Avenue N.E. Officers were dispatched for a report of a male party who was throwing garbage cans around and banging on the doors of a residence. Officers arrived on scene and observed two males outside of the residence who were verbal with each other. Officers separated the pair and interviewed them separately. Both parties stated the argument was over “brother stuff.” Officers explained the incident needed to be solved in a calmer manner; both parties agreed. Officers advised if they had to return, citations and arrests would occur.

10:17 p.m. Overdose. Third Street N. Officers were dispatched for a possible overdose. The complainant was reporting a male party had ingested half a bottle of Benadryl and half a bottle of Pamprin. Officers arrived on scene and located the male party in an upstairs bedroom. The male appeared out of it and was administered oxygen. The man’s pulse was very elevated. It was estimated the male ingested 50 25-milligram tablets of Benadryl and 10 Pamprin tablets. Gold Cross arrived on scene and took over care. Officers assisted with loading the patient for transport to St. Cloud Hospital.

Dec. 10

2:30 p.m. Medical. Seventh Street N. Officers were dispatched for a report of a female having difficulty breathing. Officers were advised she was in extreme distress. Officers arrived on scene and were directed to a back bedroom where they located the female who was gasping for air and was panicking. Officers provided oxygen and attempted to get a medical history. Gold Cross arrived on scene and soon after the female became unresponsive. Officers couldn’t feel a pulse so officers began CPR with an AED. The female was transported to the ambulance and compressions continued. After several minutes the female regained a pulse. Soon after paramedics transported her to St. Cloud Hospital.

Dec. 11

9:38 a.m. Theft. 105 Second Street S. An officer was dispatched to the Kwik Trip Construction Site for a report of a theft. The incident is under investigation.

Dec. 12

7:07 a.m. Medical. Seventh Street N. An officer was dispatched for a report of a 54-year-old female who was dizzy. The officer arrived on scene and located the female in her bed. The female stated she was feeling better but still not right. She stated she was taking a shower and felt like she was going to pass out. The officer administered oxygen and monitored her until Gold Cross arrived on scene and checked vitals which were good. The female was not transported to the hospital.
