June 4

2:56 a.m. Gunshot. Second Avenue NW. An officer met with a woman at Kwik Trip who said she heard a loud bang. A customer also reported he saw a flash and heard a gunshot or explosion. The officer checked the area.

8:59 a.m. Harassment. 19th Avenue NE. A man reported a woman who friended him on Faceback and they appeared nude in a video chat. The woman said she recorded the exchange and demanded money. The man reported the event to Facebook and the account was deleted.

June 7

 1:05 p.m. Expired tabs. CR 133 and 19th Avenue NE. An officer saw a car roll through a stop sign and then travel at 72 mph in a 55-mph zone. The car was stopped and the driver admitted speeding. The driver was cited for expired tabs.

June 8

7:45 a.m. Revoked license. CR 75 and CR 134. An officer checked the records of a license plate and found the registered owner’s license was revoked. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was cited for driving after revocation.

2:45 p.m. Stolen license plate. College Avenue S. A person reported the theft of a rear license plate. The plate was recovered on a suspicious vehicle call.

5:02 p.m. Counterfeit money. Fourth Avenue NE. Casey’s reported a counterfeit $5 bill. Using the transaction records, the officer learned only one person paid with a $5 bill during the date and time in question. Security video showed the man who made the transaction and the person was identified. The man said he didn’t know the bill was counterfeit and he returned to the business to pay them $5.

June 9

10:16 p.m. Loud music. 13th Avenue NE. The loud music was coming from a block party outside the city limits.

11:33 p.m. Loud music. Iris Lane. The music was coming from a block party outside the city limits.

June 11

2:39 p.m. Collision. CR 75 and Fourth Avenue NE. Two vehicles were traveling east on CR 75. The second vehicle slowed as the light turned green and was struck from behind by the first vehicle. The driver of the first vehicle was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance.

June 12

5:24 a.m. Theft from vehicle. 10th Avenue SE. A woman reported documents including a license, insurance card and Powerball tickets were stolen from her vehicle. A neighbor noticed a door was open on the woman’s vehicle.

11:45 a.m. Theft. Ash Street E. A man reported a chainsaw and gas can had been stolen from his yard after 9 p.m. on June 11. The chainsaw is a green Poulan valued at $160. The gas can and contents were valued at $15.
