The St. Joseph Lions Club announced the winners in the July Fourth parade. Winners selected by independent judges in the following categories were:

Margaret Molus is honored in the St. Joseph Fourth of July parade. Molus, 82, has been n active member of the St. Joseph American Legion Auxiliary Unit 328 for 42 years. She has helped with the St. Joseph Fourth of July festivities for nearly 70 years, besides doing all of her year-long volunteer tasks for the Y2K Lions, All Saints Academy, Church of St. Joseph Funeral Committee, Place of Hope in St. Cloud and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

A “Freedom Isn’t Free” unit, complete with a replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, impresses the crowds at the St. Joseph Fourth of July parade. The unit also displays flags of the U.S. Armed Forces and tombstones with the names of soldiers killed in wars.
