Anna Gruber, Sartell

As a previous city administrator and someone who works with cities and elected officials every day, Ryan Fitzthum has proven to me he has the ability, desire and leadership skills to be who we need for mayor of Sartell.

Ryan has led by example by being active and engaged in our community, taking his role as a City Council member seriously and serving on multiple committees. Ryan was born and raised in Sartell and has been serving the community in some capacity since a child. Most recently as a City Council member, Planning and Zoning Commission member, Joint Planning Commission member, Mississippi River Partners committee, Sartell Schools Facilities Committee, Sartell Fire Department captain and St. Cloud Metro Bus board member. Ryan serves on more boards and committees than any other City Council member, which proves his commitment to Sartell and his desire to be an active and engaged leader.

I had the pleasure of serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission with Ryan, as well as the Joint Planning Commission. In both roles, Ryan always put the city of Sartell first and ensured his vote supported what was best for us. He considers his role as an elected official an honor and represents us appropriately in all the ways he serves. As a father of young children, he wants to see Sartell continue to be a community built on quality education and recreational opportunities. As a firefighter, he keeps public safety a top priority. We would be fortunate to have him as our mayor, keeping our children and safety in mind in his decisions.

Please join me Nov. 6 in voting for a candidate who is leading by example by being active, engaged and committed to Sartell. Vote Fitzthum!
