A Freeport woman died Friday night in a two-vehicle collision west of St. Joseph.
A pickup driven by Jonathan Grace, 46, was westbound on Norway Road when it collided with a sport utility vehicle driven by Stacy Meyer, 54, of Freeport, according to Stearns County Sheriff Steve Soyka. Meyer was driving south on CR 3.
The collision happened at 6:54 p.m. Meyer was taken to St. Cloud Hospital where she later died. Grace sustained minor injuries in the collision. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
St. Joseph Police Department and St. Joseph Fire Department assisted the sheriff’s office.
