Arndt will be Middle School principal

The Sartell-St. Stephen school district selected Laura Arndt as the new Sartell Middle School principal beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.

Arndt served as an assistant principal at Sartell Middle School this past year and previously served as an instructional coach for three years at Oak Ridge Elementary School. Prior to her time in the district, Arndt was employed in the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district as a classroom teacher and instructional coach.

“I am excited for Laura to transition into her new role and know that she will serve our district well,” Superintendent Jeff Schwiebert said. “She is an outstanding instructional leader who always keeps the best interest of our students at the forefront of her work.”

“I have been fortunate to be surrounded by amazing educators who have made a tremendous impact on my life both personally and professionally” Arndt said in a press release. “My goal as an educator has always been to have that same impact on others and I am excited and honored to be the leader of Sartell Middle School.”

Arndt succeeds Sartell Middle School Principal Kurt Stumpf who was selected to serve as superintendent for the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton school district beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.
