Work with Youth Experiencing Homelessness
Pathways for Youth continues to provide in-person services even during the COVID crisis. They need volunteers that are eager and willing to help youth at their facility to navigate and access services including laundry, computer access, shower, food & hygiene pantry, clothing closet, storage lockers and onsite case management. Volunteers perform health screening for youth entering the facility and continually monitor to ensure youth are following designated safety protocols like wearing masks and keeping safe distances. Volunteers need to be at least 21 years old, be able to pass a background check, work at least two 2-hour shifts per month, and display awareness and acceptance of youth from highly diverse backgrounds and circumstances. You’ll be part of a compassionate & caring team that brings hope and support to youth that helps them gain the tools and self-confidence needed to start and progress along a “pathway” to independence. For some, the journey will be long but there will always be successes to celebrate along the way. Visit www.pathways4youthmn.org and click on Volunteer to submit an inquiry for further details.
