If you have yet to attend one of Mary Bruno’s open houses at her studio, you may want to add it to your list of things to do. When you walk into the studio in St. Joseph the first thing you are greeted with is a welcoming smile and a “hey buddy.”

Bruno’s warm welcome and homemade cookies are not the only attraction here. Her studio is filled with creativity, from the art being displayed on every wall, table and ceiling, to the friendly guests and helpers who support the business and this amazing woman.

Bruno Press is just that feel-good space where artists and creatives alike can be found sharing ideas and being inspired by one another.

What you’ll find at a Bruno Press open house is friendly banter, students of all ages connecting with other like-minded individuals, a safe place that encourages your creativity to explore and an opportunity to create some art yourself.

With the assistance of one of Bruno’s interns, Hallie Euerle, individuals were encouraged to make a poster of their own. At this particular event the posters that were being made had the famous Albert Einstein quote, “A ship is always safe at shore but that is not what it is built for.” Euerle had it all queued up in the press ready to be printed by anyone who stopped by.

Bruno loves to share her talent with others and that shows through the pictures she has hanging on her wall of the kids’ workshops she has done, working and coaching her interns and answering the laundry list of questions she gets from the guests that pass through. So keep your eyes peeled for her next open house which happens every first Saturday of the month, you won’t want to miss it.

For more information check out Mary Bruno’s website at mcbrunopress.com.
