Tom Emmer, U.S. congressman from our Sixth District, does not support law enforcement. He had a picture taken of himself recently with law enforcement even though he does not support law enforcement to do its job.

How is that possible? Well, you see Emmer works for Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, and Johnson recently retrieved pictures of all the violence of the Jan. 6, 2021 violent insurrection attempt at the nation’s Capitol. Johnson said they would have to blur some of the faces of persons who participated in the events of that day or they might be retaliated against by being charged by the Department of Justice and to have other concerns and problems.

In other words, the Speaker of the House did not want those people who were trying to overthrow our government to get caught or be accountable. Thus, the Speaker does not support law enforcement and Tom Emmer supports and works for the Speaker.

It’s all part of an attempt to make people believe the insurrection attempt at the nation’s Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 was merely a “tourist event” and that the people who were convicted and sentenced for their actions at the attempted insurrection are now “hostages” of the government. To be specific, 1,237 people have been charged. Of those 700 defendants pleaded guilty to a variety of charges. About 450 have been sent to prison. Former U.S. president, Donald Trump, has been charged and is awaiting trial in March.

The support for law-enforcement personnel to do their jobs is critical to a democracy. Neither the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Mike Johnson) nor the U.S Congressman of the Sixth District of Minnesota (Tom Emmer) support our democracy.
