Sandy Soils, Irrigation and Soil Health Tour is a free full day of hands-on learning as we travel through Central Minnesota with Ray Archuleta, a nationally recognized soil scientist and leader in regenerative agriculture.
The Sartell stop will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday July 22 in the field next to Upper Deck Bar, 38440 55th Ave., Sartell. Parking will be available.
Meet with local farmers and fellow producers to explore soil health principles, discuss strategies to reduce inputs, highlight ways to improve return on investment and gain practical insights for managing sandy soils and irrigation challenges. A free brisket lunch will be served. The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Soil Health Coalition, a farmer-led organization dedicated to improving soil health through education, mentorship and farmer-to-farmer support.
