Staff Report
The Sartell Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred the night of Friday, Feb. 17 at the BP gas station in the city.
At 9:11 p.m., a man walked into the station and demanded money from a clerk. He implied he had a weapon on him but did not display the weapon.
The man was described to police as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-feet 9-inches tall, who was wearing a black coat, a stocking cap and blue jeans. Because the incident is under investigation, police could not provide further details at this time.
Sartell Police Investigator Tim Broda said there were other people coming and going at the store at the time of the robbery, including a man who was putting gas in his vehicle. Broda is hoping some customer will remember something they saw or heard during that time.
If anyone has information, they should call the police department at 251-8186.
