Soon, the jingle-jangle of Salvation Army red kettles will announce the start of the Christmas season.
Bell-ringing volunteers are very much needed.
All funds raised stay in the local area for a wide range of good deeds that make the holidays brighter for people in need.
Those who cannot ring bells can still help out by setting up a fundraising page as part of the Give Christmas Away campaign.
