12:45 p.m. Public assist. Summit Avenue S. Police were dispatched after a report of a found dog at the aforementioned address. The animal was transported to public works and given food and water. Officers located the owner of the dog and contacted her by phone. She responded and took custody of the animal.
Nov. 16
6:30 a.m. Medical. Fourth Avenue N. Authorities responded to a female who was having difficulty breathing. Upon arrival, police spoke with the woman who stated she had been experiencing these symptoms for a few days. She was transported to St. Cloud Hospital for further care.
6:25 p.m. Detox. First Street S. Police were summoned to a local business after reports of a male yelling he wanted to go to detox. Upon arrival, police found the man and transported him to detox for further assistance.
Nov. 17
10:43 a.m. Lost property. Seventh Avenue N. Police were advised to speak with a female complainant who stated her briefcase and handbag were missing from her unlocked car. She stated nothing of value was in them but she was unable to locate their whereabouts. No suspects or evidence has been determined.
Nov. 18
Arrest. Second Street N.E. Police arrested a male suspect who had warrants in Stearns, Benton and Hennepin counties. He was transported to Benton County Jail for processing.
7:21 a.m. Theft. Second Avenue N. Authorities responded to a report of a car theft. The complainant stated his car had been locked overnight and the keys were inside his residence. He did not have any possible suspects but stated he is willing to press charges.
Nov. 19
1:40 a.m. Domestic. 15th Street N.E. A female called police after her sister had shown up at her front door crying. She had visible marks on her forehead and a bruised lip from an altercation she had had with her boyfriend. She stated both parties involved had too much to drink, which started the initial argument. She did not wish to press charges.
Nov. 20
12:30 a.m. Arrest. Benton Drive N./Second Street N. While on patrol, police observed a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic. The vehicle was pulled over, and the driver was identified as a warranted criminal. He was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail for processing.
Nov. 21
7:45 p.m. Found property. Division Street. Police located two handicap plates at the aforementioned address. The owner of the plates stated he had driven off with them on the roof of his vehicle.
