Feb. 7

12:30 a.m. Found property. Second Avenue S. A female complainant called police in regards to an ATM card which had been left in the machine. The woman described the vehicle which had left it there by accident and gave authorities the card. While en route to the police station, officers noticed the vehicle parked at a local business. The female inside matched the name on the ATM card, which was promptly returned to her.

Feb. 8

6:16 a.m. Fire. Second Avenue N. Police were called to the aforementioned address where there was an unattended bonfire in the backyard. The Sauk Rapids Fire Department came to extinguish the fire and the area was cleared.

10:05 a.m. Agency assist. N. Benton Drive. Police were dispatched to assist the Sartell Police Department in regards to a motor-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, there were three officers present processing the accident. No further assistance was required.

10:48 a.m. Theft. Second Avenue N. Police responded to a complaint of vehicle tampering and theft. Authorities met with the female complainant who had placed the call. She stated sometime during the night someone had entered her locked vehicle and taken her purse which contained her various credit cards. There was no damage to the vehicle and no evidence found.

Feb. 9

3:23 a.m. Alarm. Benton Drive N. Authorities were dispatched after a report of a residential panic alarm. Upon arrival, officers met with the resident who stated there had been someone on her lawn who ran away. There appeared to be no footprints in the area surrounding the residence.

Feb. 10

Damaged property. Second Avenue N. Officers met with a female complainant who stated someone keeps repeatedly taking screws off her front door. She has spent a great deal of money getting the door fixed and re-keyed.

6:50 a.m. Medical. Frontier Court. Police responded to a female who had collapsed in her kitchen and was unable to stand. She was believed to have a severe case of the flu. The patient was assisted by authorities and Gold Cross.

Feb. 12

11:45 a.m. Suspicious vehicle. Third Avenue S. Officers were dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle that had been partially blocking an alleyway for the past two weeks. Upon arrival, police observed the vehicle. It appeared as if other vehicles were able to drive by without issue.

Feb. 13

7:49 p.m. Theft. 13th Avenue S. Police responded to a theft at a local gas station. Upon arrival, they met with an employee who stated sometime in the past few days, someone had taken six 20-pound propane tanks from a storage locker on the southwest corner of the building. No evidence was found, but the lock from the locker was missing and unable to be located.
