They are the following: Peter Barrett, Richard Chapman, Amanda Davis, Kadylyn Golden, Chelsea Haley, Kaylee Heinen, Juliette Hiza, Brady Jackels, Adam Lemke, Daniel Matveyev, Kory Mohs, Nicholas Palm, Abigail Rekstad, Adam Rutherford, Alexis Stanlake, Tyler Stellmach, Bret Thompson, Makaela Towner, Scott Vouk and Nathan Zimmerman. Jackels, Stanlake, Vouk and Zimmerman are from St. Stephen; the others are from Sartell.

They are the following: Benjamin Bierscheid, son of Karla Pallansch and Scott Bierscheid of Sartell, a first-year biology major; and Timothy Immelman, son of Pamela and Aubrey Immelman of Sartell, a junior psychology major.

PineCone Vision Center of Sartell recently presented a check to Sartell-St. Stephen School District Early Childhood Center. The funds were raised by the Back to School 5K and Kids 1K Obstacle Course which was sponsored by PineCone Vision Center in cooperation with Dentistry for Children. The funds will be used for the purchase of needed items at the Early Childhood Center.
Partners from the event included BLEND Fit Kids Club and gold sponsor Synergy Chiropractic, silver sponsors Central Minnesota Orthodontics, Mustang Signs and Graphics, Rinke Noonan and The Bounce Adventure, and bronze sponsors 360 Chiropractic, GNP Co., Ehlinger Lawn Service, Rejuv Medical and Schneider Orthodontics.
“We were glad to see the momentum around this fundraiser,” said Dr. Stacy Hinkemeyer, PineCone Vision Center’s clinical director. “We are especially interested in early childhood services since 80 percent of a child’s learning comes through their vision.

360 Chiropractic of Sartell, as part of its 18th official Patient Appreciation Week held Jan. 18-22, contributed more than $8,000 in free services to their patients in exchange for donations totaling $1,510 for the Anna Marie’s Alliance. They combined another $1,490 raised in earlier months for a total donation of $3,000. Anna Marie’s Alliance has many urgent needs and the funds will be used to install a keyless entry in the shelter. The aim is to add security and greater freedom to the families, said Sandy Nadeau of Anna Marie’s Alliance.
During Patient Appreciation Day, 360 Chiropractors’ Dr. Jon Anderson, Dr. Brent Venables and Dr. Marc Anderson treated nearly 160 patients to wellness adjustments in exchange for donations to the Anna Marie’s Alliance, a local organization that provides safe shelter, support and referral services for battered women and their children and promotes violence prevention within our community.
“These weeks are really hectic for our staff, but we love what we do,” said Dr. Jon Anderson, medical director at 360 Chiropractic. “Helping organizations like Anna Marie’s and thanking our patients is exactly why we created our Patient Appreciation Week.”

Five organizations serving communities in Central Minnesota were recipients of grants by the St. Paul-based Otto Bremer Trust as part of its most recent grant-making cycle to support charitable activities on a wide range of issues such as homelessness, financial stability and domestic violence.
Grants awarded to organizations in Central Minnesota include: Central Minnesota Council, Boy Scouts of America, Sartell, $40,000, to support Scout Reach, a program that encourages young people with financial or cultural barriers to participate in a scouting experience; Central Minnesota Mental Health Center, St. Cloud, $65,000, to support the St. Cloud Area Child Response Initiative, which provides a coordinated community response to children and families who have experienced violence or trauma; CommunityGiving, St. Cloud, $100,000, to build the capacity of community foundations in order to leverage financial and community resources; Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota, St. Cloud, $45,000, to provide family support services to low-income children and adults in the Talahi neighborhood of St. Cloud; and Tri-County Action Program Inc., Waite Park, $50,000, to provide free tax preparation to low-income residents of Central Minnesota by IRS-certified, volunteer tax preparers.
In 2015, the Otto Bremer Trust awarded more than $45 million in grants and program-related investments that support charitable activities at more than 500 organizations in Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin.
