contributed photo Sartell Sapphire Gymnastics recently had two teams advance to the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association (MAGA) State Championships. The Sartell Sapphire Silver team qualified for the MAGA Division 5 Championship held in Mankato on March 5. The Silver Team placed 6th with a team score of 124.275. Top finishers include Brenna Chisholm: 1st on vault, 4th on uneven bars, 3rd on balance beam, 2nd on floor and 1st in the all around; Gracie Wittmer-George: 2nd on vault, 7th on uneven bars, 6th on balance beam, 4th on floor and 6th in the all around; and Annie Dummer: 4th on vault, 5th on uneven bars, 2nd on balance beam, 6th on floor and 4th in the all around. The Silver team also earned the Team Sportsmanship award, which is voted on by their peers at the competition.
