The Church of St. Joseph Heritage Hall will host several health and wellness presentations at the Heritage Hall Parish Center.
Focusing on the idea that maintaining balanced wellness includes being in good physical, emotional and spiritual health, the first presentation – identifying parts of the Wellness Wheel and how to keep that wheel balanced – will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept 9.
On Friday, Sept. 23, nursing students from the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University will assess participants’ balance during Falls Prevention Awareness Week.
On Friday, Oct. 14, Dr. Mark Roerick from Advantage Chiropractic will discuss posture and how improving it can improve stability.
On Friday, Nov. 11, attendees will learn about how Healing Touch energy therapy supports and facilitates physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
The presentations are being hosted in partnership with the Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud and the Central Minnesota Council on Aging.
