A Sauk Rapids woman died in a two-car accident on the evening of Nov. 4 in Stearns County.
Sheena Grimstad, 33, was northbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu on Hwy. 15 at “a high rate of speed” at about 7 p.m. when she veered off the road and struck a light pole at CR 1, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Christina Hasselbring, 40, a St. Joseph resident, was stopped for a red light on CR 1 in a 2015 GMC Sierra pickup when the Sierra was struck by Grimstad. Hasselbring’s physical condition was unavailable as of the deadline time of this newspaper.
Helping at the scene of the accident were officials from the Sauk Rapids, Sartell and St. Cloud police departments and the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
