The Sartell Community Center, now being built in south Sartell, is rapidly coming into focus, including in this artist’s conception created by the project’s architect, HMA Architects (Hagermeister-Mack) of St. Cloud. This view from the south shows the two-story area toward the back that will house the three gyms and elevated walking as well as the other areas front and to the right that will contain a senior center, meeting rooms, kitchen and other amenities. In the foreground is Lake Francis (a holding pond). Also noted the walking path near the lake. The $11-million center is expected to open next summer after a long winter of constant work.
