With intense concentration and determination, Emily Crandall, 12, of Sartell, readies to throw the basketball into a hoop on Jan. 14 at the Knights of Columbus Free-throw Competition at All Saints Academy in St. Joseph. Crandall won the round in her age bracket. Her sister, Libby Crandall, 14, also from Sartell, won in her age bracket, as well. Both will go on to compete at the district level in February.
