Accident takes down pole on 4th Avenue N.

photo by Logan Gruber Drivers might have been concerned after seeing chevron signs and a power pole laying on the ground on 4th Avenue N. by 9-1/2 Street N., but no one was injured in the accident. A 17-year-old male was driving south on 4th Avenue when he stated he blacked out and ended up off the road. The male left the scene, and by the time he returned with his father police had been called. No police action is being taken, and public works crews and Xcel energy were called to clear the scene for traffic.

Drivers might have been concerned after seeing chevron signs and a power pole laying on the ground on Fourth Avenue N. by Nine-1/2 Street N., but no one was injured in the accident. A 17-year-old male was driving south on Fourth Avenue around 11 p.m. on Jan. 1 when he stated he blacked out and ended up off the road. The male left the scene, and by the time he returned with his father, police had been called. No police action is being taken, and public works crews and Xcel Energy were called to clear the scene for traffic.
