Anthony “Tony” D. Mohr, 75, of Le Sueur, formerly of Sartell, died Feb. 17 at Oak Terrace Senior Living Center in Le Sueur.
Mohr was born June 19, 1946 to William and Myrtle (Gabrielson) Mohr in Marshall. He graduated from Luverne High School and attended Mankato State University for a short time before enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1966, serving during Vietnam until 1972. After his time in the Navy, he returned to Mankato State University to complete his studies in business. Mohr later began a long career in purchasing for various companies. He married Victoria Peters on Dec. 19, 1975 in Mankato; the couple later divorced. Mohr enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, reading and live music, but mostly spending time with close friends and family, especially his grandson, Collin.
Survivors include his children: Dan Mohr and his partner Aarin Ledford of Bloomington, Minnesota; Angie Mohr of Sartell and grandson Collin Mohr; siblings: Karl (Kim) Mohr, William (Susan) Mohr, James Mohr, Phyllis (Don) Abild, Mary (Jim) DeJarlais, Martha Mohr, Christine (John) Tortorella and Ann (Bruce) Simmons.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Troy Mohr; and sisters, Sally Mohr and Ange Patton.
In accordance to Mohr’s wishes, no funeral will be held. A small celebration of life will be held by his family at a later date.
