Sartell Senior Connection hosts jigsaw puzzle contest April 27
A jigsaw puzzle contest, hosted by Sartell Senior Connection, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27 in the Sartell Community Center, 850 19th St. S. Teams of four or fewer will compete in a timed contest with all teams working on the same 500-piece puzzle. Registration fee is $20/team. Heath Quartet to perform this Saturday
Heath Quartet, sponsored by the Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud, will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20 in St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1111 Cooper Ave. S., St. Cloud.
This dynamic and charismatic quartet is one of the most exciting British chamber ensembles of the moment. They bring a program of Bach, Haydn, Henriette Bosmans and Korngold. Y2K Lions sponsor senior royalty essay contest
Winners of a senior royalty essay contest, sponsored by the St. Joseph Y2K Lions, will get the opportunity to ride in the Fourth of July Parade as St. Joseph’s senior royalty. Do you know a remarkable senior citizen whose contributions have shaped our community for the better? We’re on the lookout for individuals (55+) who have dedicated their time, energy and passion to make our community a brighter place to live. Whether they’ve spent years volunteering at the local food bank, organizing community events or offering a helping hand to neighbors in need, we want to hear about it all. Nominees must live in St. Joseph or the local township. Essays must highlight nominee’s volunteer work and be approximately 250 words. Deadline is June 1. All-night grad party for 2024 senior class
Planning for the 2024 All Night Senior Graduation Party is underway. This is an all-night, chemical free celebration for the graduating senior class, which takes place following the graduation ceremony on June 1. In addition to a full night of entertainment, food and games, this party is highlighted by an exciting hypnotist. Each senior will leave with a door prize purchased through funds donated by area businesses, parents and friends of the Sartell-St Stephen school district. In addition, each attendee will be entered in raffle drawings for larger prizes, including a car donated by Miller Auto Center.
