On March 26, 2013 the Kennedy Community School 6th graders went to Junior Achievement Biztown in Maplewood, Minnesota. At Biztown the students ran a town for the day and had jobs in one of the town’s businesses. Prior to the event the students learned how to write checks, deposit tickets, and fill out check registers. They also learned about our economy and practiced philanthropy. They had fun being adults for a day!
