contributed photo Local CMYS U17 Boys soccer travel team Thunder won the championship against Minneapolis Southeast on July 19 during the week-long tournament at the Schwan’s Cup in Blaine, Minn. The Schwan’s Cup is the greatest international youth soccer tournament in the western hemisphere. The event showcases more than 950 teams and 14,000 soccer players from more than 20 states and 16 countries.
