Local CMYS U16 boys soccer travel team Thunder wins championship against Ecuador at Schwan’s Cup Alexandra Murray of Sartell recently graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in neuroscience  from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md. Murray is the daughter of Judy and Michael Murray and attended Sartell High School. She will begin the doctorate program this August at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Michael Jacobs, St. Joseph, was a member of the local CMYS U16 Boys travel team Thunder which recently won the championship against Ecuador at a weeklong Schwans Cup Competition in Blaine. St. Joseph firefighters perform controlled burn of CSB’s Idzerda House

The St. Joseph Fire Department hosted a controlled burn Aug. 3 at the Idzerda House, located on the south end of the College of St. Benedict campus. A controlled burn is when a fire department burns a structure to practice and prepare for firefighting.
