The city of St. Joseph will host a meet and greet on starting a community ball program for the coming summer.
The meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Government Center, 75 Callaway St. E.
Former Minnesota Twins player Al Newman will be at the meeting. Planners want to start a community T-ball, baseball and softball program. Call John at 320-290-0235 for more information.
