Sabres muzzle the Bulldogs 7-0
After running into a brick wall against Blake Aug. 25, the Sabres bounced back on Aug. 28. Some would say it was a mismatch, but whatever it was, it was a real confidence booster as the Sabres won their second game 7-0.
The Sabres shredded the Becker defense in the first half, scoring five quick goals and never allowed the Bulldog offense to get warmed up. Not content with the score, the Sabres added two more goals in the second period to come away with the 7-0 win.
Connor Kalthoff led the Sabres’ slashing attack with four goals. Aiden Forberg buried the ball in the back of the net twice, and Luke Spanier stuck the Bulldog goal keeper for one more goal.
