Coffee and Conversation, speaker: Joe McLean recruiter for AmeriCorps, 9 a.m., Sartell Community Center, 850 19th St. S. Free for museum members and nominal fee for non-members. Joe McLean will share his experiences as a Reading Corps and Math Corps tutor and explain how and why these education programs are successful. He will emphasize the importance of seniors tutoring students. He will also discuss tutor commitments, different start dates, a day in the life, compensation and benefits, and answer any questions about these programs.
