9:00 am: Diabetes Prevention Program9:00 am: Diabetes Prevention Program – The Diabetes Prevention Program will help you lose 5% of your body weight, increase physical activity, learn about healthy eating, learn motivation strategies, and learn to manage stress, solve problems, and avoid negative thinking. This evidence-based, lifestyle change program is designed for people with pre-diabetes. The community-centered classes include topics such as eating healthier, reducing stress, and increasing physical activity. This workshop will meet at various times on Wednesdays beginning January 19th until May 4th, and we have another offering beginning Saturday, February 5th at 9am, meeting weekly until May 21st.
