January 22, 2022A free-throw competition for children ages 9-14 will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 at St. Francis Xavier School gymnasium, 219 Second St. N., Sartell. This annual event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Trobec Council #5276, serving the Sartell and St. Stephen communities. Winners from the local level will advance to district, region and state competitions. All contestants from the local level are recognized for their participation in the event and the winners at each level receive a trophy. Participants register at the event and must have written consent and age verification from a parent or guardian.
