    Monthly Meeting (via Zoom)

“Local Redistricting: St. Cloud and Stearns County”

    Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 1:00--3:00 p.m.

As a follow-up to the 2020 U.S. Census, local and county governments in Minnesota must address redistricting. City ward boundaries will have to be established by March 29, 2022, and county district boundaries by April 26, 2022. The redistricting process will get underway in October, 2021, and involves scheduling public input. To learn more about how the redistricting process works, we have invited St. Cloud City Clerk, Seth Kauffman; Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer, Randy Schreifels; and Stearns County Board Chair, Tarryl Clark to talk about the role of public officials in the drafting of maps and how public input is solicited and incorporated.
