Memory Writers is a writing group that meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays at 10:00 am.  The group develop topics to write about and in turn shares those stories. This program is free to Museum members (non-members $7). Join the Memory Writers as they explore our past and develop skills as writers. No RSVP is required. Laundry Love, 5-8 p.m., St. Joseph Laundromat, 31 W. Minnesota St. The first and third Tuesdays of the month, guests will be able to get quarters and laundry supplies to do their laundry. Volunteers come from St. John’s Campus Ministry, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Central Minnesota Catholic Worker.

Coffee and Conversation, speaker: Bill Marsella, 9 a.m., Sartell Community Center, 850 19th St. S. Free for museum members and nominal fee for non-members. "Words that Last: Writing Guidance to Share Your Greatest Gift -- Your Legacy." Throughout his long careers in the Army Reserve Medical Corps and as a professional fundraiser for charitable causes, Bill Marsella discovered his passion for helping people share their life stories so that they know their lives have made a difference and will be remembered by future generations. A trained Legacy Facilitator and certified Guided Autobiography Instructor, Bill, who lives in Monticello MN, now dedicates his time and talent to teach classes that help others share their life's stories (legacies) on paper with their loved ones.
