I would like to thank the College of St. Benedict for hosting the Camp Invention program this summer. At Camp Invention, children work together in teams to find solutions to real-world challenges inspired by the greatest innovators in the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
This summer, local elementary students at CSB joined more than 83,000 students nationwide in exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts through hands-on, creative problem-solving activities.
I especially want to thank the Camp Invention Director Missy Tellinghuisen, the talented local teachers, enthusiastic youth staff and the amazingly creative St. Joseph-area students who participated in the program.
