Enjoy this curated list of children’s books for Black History Month from Reading Partners, a national nonprofit that mobilizes communities to provide students with the reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.

Each book shares heritage and history from authors and illustrators who also share the identities of the book characters. These 12 titles can be shared and discussed throughout the year.
