Tuesday evening at the city council meeting it was announced that council member Brian Theisen has put in his resignation. “It’s been a great opportunity, but life is taking me in a different direction,” Theisen stated. Theisen has served on the council for two years.
During the meeting a motion was passed to open applications for Theisen’s position on Wednesday, July 7th. Applications will close on July 21st and the council will begin the interview process at that time. They hope to fill the position by August 2nd.
