A Cold Spring man was arrested on a felony warrant for a domestic assault without incident Wednesday after the Stearns/Benton SWAT team was deployed.
On March 19, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Task Force identified an address in the City of Cold Spring where an individual with an active Stearns County felony arrest warrant for domestic assault – strangulation was believed to be staying. The individual was identified as Larry Gene Mosley, 24, currently of Cold Spring.
An assessment and evaluation of the related information resulted in the Stearns/Benton SWAT Team being deployed to execute a search warrant at an address in the City of Cold Spring. Mosley was arrested without incident at the location.
The subsequent investigation determined probable cause to charge Mosley with an additional offense of violating a Domestic Abuse No Contact order. No injuries were sustained in this event. The operation was supported by the Cold Spring Police, St. Cloud Community Response Team and Mayo Ambulance service.
