In reply to the letter to the editor from Paul E. Peterson:
Yes, in writing his editorial, Dennis Dalman did believe Pastor Tom Wright was still affiliated with Celebration Lutheran Church.
Although Wright did not state in his printed comment he was withdrawing his ad because he disagrees with Dalman’s opinions, he has stated several times in the past to the newspaper’s owner/publisher that Dalman’s political views are not compatible with what Wright claims is the conservative majority of Sartell residents and those of his congregation.
Wright’s comments that were emailed to the newspaper owner/publisher were taken to be a letter to editor, although a check showed there was no specific instruction from Wright that it should be published as such. For that, we extend our apologies.
