Feb. 13 Sartell police blotter

Feb. 6

12:22 a.m. Traffic stop. 2 ½ Street N. Traffic Stop. Officers spotted a vehicle with an owner was known to have a warrant from another state. Officers stopped the vehicle and placed the driver under arrest. The driver was taken to Stearns County Jail.

Feb. 7

1:52 a.m. Domestic. Fifth Avenue N. A person entered an apartment and was yelling and pounding on doors. Officers arrested the person for domestic assault and the person was taken to Stearns County Jail.

Feb. 8

1:35 a.m. Recovered vehicle. Fourth Avenue NE. An officer saw a vehicle that was listed as stolen. The owner arrived and drove the vehicle away.

Feb. 9

5:45 p.m. Paraphernalia found. CR 120.  Drug paraphernalia was found in a local business. An officer took possession of the contraband and paraphernalia and later disposed of it.

Feb. 10

11:50 p.m. Domestic. Victory Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a domestic assault. Upon arrival they spoke to the complainant who told officers their spouse struck them. Officers arrested the individual for domestic assault and the person was taken to Stearns County Jail.

Feb. 11

10:45 p.m. Suspicious person. An officer witnessed a man change his behavior abruptly after spotting the officer’s marked squad car. The man attempted to leave the area when the officer investigated. The individual stated he had a warrant for his arrest in another county. The officer placed the individual under arrest and transported him to Stearns County Jail.

Feb. 12

12:55 a.m. Driving complaint. Riverside Avenue S. Officers were dispatched to a call about a vehicle stuck in the snow. Upon arrival the officers stopped the vehicle. The driver had an arrest warrant from another county and a revoked license. The driver was arrested for the warrant and cited for the driving infraction and taken to Stearns County Jail.
